Mandya: A woman Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Police has been suspended by Superintendent of Police (SP) G. Radhika on charges of taking bribe from a two-wheeler rider on Maddur Highway.
The suspended woman ASI has been identified as Shobha.
Following the video of the ASI taking bribe from the rider on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway in Maddur while being seated inside a Highway Patrol vehicle went viral on the social media, SP Radikha, who collected information about it, suspended the ASI and has ordered for a Departmental Enquiry.
