Mysuru: An unidentified woman was found lying in pool of blood on the footpath in front of South Western Railway DRM Office (near City Railway Station) on Irwin Road in city this morning.

The Police said that the incident had taken place between 3 am and 4 am today and added that the identification of woman was yet to be established.

However, few people are said to have informed the Police that the deceased was into beggary in the surroundings of City Railway Station and J.K. Grounds.

N.R. Police Inspector Ashok Kumar, who is in-charge of Mandi Police Station, visited the spot along with the team and conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary.
