Mysuru: A woman, said to be depressed in life, allegedly committed suicide by hanging self at her residence in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage here yesterday morning. The deceased is Hemashree (26), wife of Umesh. Daughter of Shivaswamy of Ramabainagar here, Hemashree was given in marriage to Umesh, a native of Bekkalale in Malavalli, two-and-a-half years ago. Umesh, a M.Sc graduate in Bio Chemistry, is working as a scientist at a private company in city.

It is learnt that though being a M.Com graduate, Hemashree did not get a job, which had depressed her and she took the extreme step yesterday at about 11 am when no one was at home. Vijayanagar Inspector B.G. Kumar and staff conducted mahazar and registered a case.
