Woman from city bags ‘Mrs. India Hardworking’ crown

Mysuru:  Bhagyalakshmi, a corporate trainer, has bagged the ‘Mrs. India Hardworking 2018’ at a beauty pageant held at Tivoli Gardens in New Delhi recently. The event was organised by Delhi-based Vibrant Concepts. Bhagyalakshmi is from Mysuru, now settled in Bengaluru.

The show was organised with an intention of women empowerment with main theme ‘Stop violence against women’. In all, there were 42 contestants from across the country. Bhagyalakshmi was one of the finalists from Bengaluru and after four days of grooming sessions and winning in different rounds, she was crowned with the title.

Thirty-eight-year-old Bhagyalakshmi has diverse experience as an HR, corporate trainer, educator, professional counsellor and trainer for visually challenged students. She is associated with many NGOs.

Born in Mysuru and alumni of JSS College for Women, University of Mysore, Bhagyalakshmi is the daughter of N. Kallumaligegowda, retired Labour Officer and S. Padmavathi, a homemaker. She is married to H.D. Anilkumar, an IT Consultant.
