Mysore/Mysuru: A woman was killed when a KSRTC bus ran over her after hitting the scooter she was riding at Paduvarahalli Circle on Mysuru-Hunsur Road on Monday. The deceased is Shwetha (30), a resident of Hebbal in city.

On Monday, Shwetha was proceeding on her scooter from Kalamandira side when the driver of the KSRTC bus lost control of the vehicle, rammed into the scooter of Shwetha and ran over her when she fell down from her two-wheeler.

Shwetha, who sustained serious injuries, was being shifted to a hospital but breathed her last midway, according to V.V. Puram Traffic Police, who have registered a case.
