H.D. Kote: An elderly woman was killed, when a tractor ploughed into a house at Madapura village in the taluk yesterday afternoon.
The deceased woman has been identified as Halamma (70), a resident of Devaraja Colony, Madapura near H.D. Kote.
It is learnt that the tractor driver, while negotiating a turn, lost control of the vehicle, which ploughed into the house killing the woman on the spot. H.D. Kote Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
