Woman’s gold chain snatched at Hebbal

Mysore/Mysuru: Bike borne miscreants have snatched a gold mangalya chain from a woman who was proceeding towards her home from a temple at Hebbal Layout in city on Feb. 24.

The woman, who lost her gold mangalya chain is Geetha, a resident of Hebbal 2nd Stage in city. 

Geetha, who had gone to Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple, was  proceeding towards her home at 8 pm, when two bike-borne miscreants, who came from the opposite direction near Ramdev Bhandar on the 3rd Cross in Subramanyanagar, yanked off her gold chain weighing 55 grams, worth about Rs. 1.5 lakh and sped away. 

Hebbal Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar , registered a case and are investigating.
