Women in traditional attire take out bike rally

Women dressed in traditional attire — saree and Mysuru Peta — took out a bike rally as part of Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations organised by ‘V Sakkhi.’ Kannada Flags fluttered as the women started off the rally in 25 bikes from Kote Anjaneyaswamy  Temple, Palace North Gate. They rally, flagged off by MLA L. Nagendra, passed through Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle, Gun House Circle, Chamaraja Double Road, Ramaswamy Circle, Crawford Hall Road, Kukkarahalli Road before culminating at Maharaja’s College Grounds. Mayor Sunanda Palanetra and Omkareshwari, who were present at the grounds, received the rallyists. ‘V Sakkhi’ Founder Lakshmi, Mysuru Division office-bearers Kanchana Ganga and Bhanu too took part.
