Women’s U-23 T20 Trophy 2019-20: Shubha shines in Karnataka’s win

Mysuru girl Shubha Satish’s excellent batting (53, 54b, 7×4) enabled Karnataka to register a exciting five-run win over Madhya Pradesh in the Women’s U-23 T20 Trophy 2019-20 match played at RSI Grounds in Bengaluru on Monday.

Batting first, Karnataka scored 105 for six in 20 overs. Opener Shubha Satish top scored with a valuable 53.

In reply, Madhya Pradesh were restricted to 100 for six in 20 overs. Raman Sharma (25) and Nikita D. Singh (20) were the scorers for Madhya Pradesh. Aditi R. Rajesh took two for 16 for Karnataka.

In an earlier match on Saturday, Subha Satish slammed a fine 60 off 44 balls as Karnataka beat Jammu & Kashmir by 138-runs at Alur Grounds on Saturday.
