Won’t talk in public on BJP rift: B.L. Santosh

Mysuru: BJP National Joint Organisational Secretary B.L. Santosh, who was accused by State BJP Chief B.S. Yeddyurappa (BSY) of being behind K.S. Eshwarappa’s (KSE)  rebellion against him, said that he would not discuss in public the rift in the party and as well as the resolutions passed at the 2-day BJP Executive Meet in city.

Speaking to press persons after coming out of the meet, Santosh who wished the press persons with folded hands, seemed to be in a hurry when he was repeatedly asked about the rift between Yeddyurappa and Eshwarappa. He left the venue after prodding his driver to move fast.

Earlier, Santosh who addressed the meet, said that all Assembly ticket aspirants should travel widely in their respective constituency to ensure victory of the party in 2018 Assembly Polls. He called upon the party workers to set aside their personal work for at least 15 days.

Upset over his call, some party workers who blamed Santosh for the rift between KSE and BSY, tried to stop his speech when Yeddyurappa intervened and pacified them following which Santosh continued with his speech.
