Mysuru: The Department of Civil Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysore, is conducting a 15-day workshop on “Civil AutoCAD 2D & 3D” from July 25 to Aug.8 at its premises.
This workshop is designed to train the students to master the tool and create professional 2D drawings. Then using 2D drawings, 3D models can be generated for realistic 3D-presentations which helps in visualisation of the end products like residences, office, etc.
The workshop was inaugurated by P. Vishwanath, Hon.Secretary, Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS). S.N.Lakshminarayana, Hon. Treasurer, Dr. B. Sadashivegowda, Principal, Dr. H. S. Dayananda, Dean (Academics) and HoD of Civil Engineering, P. Manoj, Programme Coordinator, S. Jayaprakash, Technical Head and M. Madhu of Ballal CADD Training Centre, were present.
