Mysuru: The Department of Communication and Journalism, St. Joseph’s First Grade College, Jayalakshmipuram, has organised a one-day State-level workshop on ‘Effective Communication in Media’ for all the undergraduate students on Oct. 10 in the college premises.
The main objective of this workshop is to nourish effective writing and presenting skills among the journalism students. Students from around 15 colleges from various districts are taking part in the workshop.
Dr. Niranjan Vanalli, Registrar, Music University, Mysuru, will be the chief guest. Rev. Fr.Vijay Kumar, Secretary and Correspondent, Mysore Diocesan Educational Society (MDES), will preside. Rev.Fr. Praveen Kumar, Priest in Charge, St. Mathais and St. Joseph’s Institution, Prof. Mani, CEO, St.Joseph’s Colleges and Dr. V. Niveditha, Principal and HoD, will be present.
Dr. Farhan Zameer, Assistant Professor, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru and Soft Skill Trainer, will deliver the valedictory address.
