Workshop for wannabe women entrepreneurs

Mysore/Mysuru: The Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institution Innovation Council of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Metagalli, Mysuru, in association with Catalyst for Women Entrepreneurs (CWE), Mysuru Chapter and SBI, recently conducted a workshop  detailing different schemes for getting loan from the bank, exclusively for women entrepreneurs, at the College premises in city.

Dr. Shrilakshmi, CWE member and Convener of the programme inaugurated the event and briefed the audience on the importance of women entrepreneurs and their success stories. This was followed by a talk from  Ayurshree who explained the activities of CWE, a Bengaluru-based NGO, founded by Sucharita Eshwar. The NGO has enabled 3,100 women entrepreneurs to succeed in their ventures. 

Dr. P. Raviraj and Dr. S. Padmashree gave an overview about the Institute. Ratnashree,  Founder- Her-Money, gave a talk on types of funding options available for different industries. This was followed by a session by Seetha Raghav from SBI, Mysuru who gave a talk on how SBI can help in availing schemes. 

Advocate K.V. Prasanna, Valuer Devaraju, SBI team comprising L.S. Shashidhar and SBI Hebbal Branch Chief Manager Abhishek Nanda, CWE Mysore team members Babita Singh and Padmaja and students of the GSSSIETW were present. Ayurshree proposed a vote of thanks.
