A workshop in organic farming has been organised at the farm of R.S. Ramananda and M.S. Rani in Rangasamudra of T. Narasipur taluk on Aug. 23 under ‘Savayava Sampada’ series of  All India Radio’s (AIR) ‘Krishi Belagu’ programme. Agriculture Department Joint  Director Dr. B.S. Chandrashekar will inaugurate the event at 10 am. Akashvani Assistant Director S.S. Umesh will preside.

The programme is organised under the joint aegis of Akashvani, Mysuru, Agriculture Department, Mysuru, University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bengaluru, Extension Education Unit of Organic Farming Research Station, Naganahalli, Zonal Agriculture Research Centre, VC Farm of Mandya, Federation of Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar Districts Regional Co-operative Organic Farmers Association and Visvesvaraya Development Organisation, Mysuru.
