Mysuru – The Raitha Mitra Farmers’ Producer Company Limited in association with District Horticulture Department has organised a workshop and an interaction meet for farmers in city on Apr. 15.
Addressing the press meet at Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road here this morning, Kurubur Shanthakumar, Chairman of Raitha Mitra Farmers’ Producer Company Limited and President of State Sugarcane Growers Association said that the workshop and the interaction would be held from 11 am onwards at Sri Rajendra Bhavan in JSS Hospital premises.
He said that Dr. K.M. Indresh, Dean, College of Horticulture, Yelwal, Mysuru, will inaugurate the workshop. Cliff Love, Advisor to the National Horticulture Board, Government of India and an agricultural expert from Israel, D. Manjunath, Deputy Director of District Horticulture Department, Aravamudan, District Assistant Manager of NABARD, Dr. Arun Balamatti, Co-ordinating Officer of JSS KVK, Suttur and T.V. Gopinath, Senior Director of Raitha Mitra Farmers’ Producer Company Limited, will be present as chief guests.
