‘Meditation is a good tool for managing stress’
Mysuru: Meditation is a good tool for managing stress and improvement of health is possible by following modern methods of stress management, said Ayurvedic Consultant Dr. Anjaneya Murthy.
He was addressing the delegates attending a workshop on Modern Management, a training programme, organised by the National Institute of Man Management and Advancement, New Delhi, at a private hotel in city recently.
He said that stress is increasing in our society and executives have to develop life styles to control stress and added that time management, delegation of work, setting up of realistic goals and planning of each day activities were some of the methods of managing one’s stress.
The four-day workshop discussed issues relating to productivity effective managerial methods, leadership stress management and effective human relationship, according to Prof. K. Shamanna, Consultant, Managerial Skills and Training.
