Workshop on Water Sanitation and Hygiene on July 2

Mysuru: The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) is organising a one-day assessment workshop on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) on July 2 from 10 am to 1 pm at its Sarvepalli Radhakrishna Seminar Hall, Mysuru.

The main objectives of the workshop are to collate the WASH issues in an urban milieu by involving all stakeholders such as Government officials, civil society members, academia, communities, NGOs and industries, to prioritise the issues after consultation with stakeholders, to develop a way forward for the WASH Lab and to create WASH forum in city. Government Officials, NGO, Industries and individuals working in WASH sector who are interested to participate in betterment of WASH sector in Mysuru may attend.

The workshop is being conducted under Innovation Hub for Urban Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (IHUWASH) project. IHUWASH is a collaborative initiative of National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), TARU Leading Edge, International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Ennovent to address the WASH challenges through innovative solutions.
