Mysuru: A workshop on Padam, a specialised genre of Karnatak music, will be conducted by Vidwan Chitraveena N. Ravikiran under the auspices of SPVGMC Trust at Chokkamma Hall, Veene Seshanna Bhavan (Ganabharathi) in Kuvempunagar on July 17 and 18 at 6 pm.
Ravikiran has learnt Padam from Vidu. T. Brinda, who hails from the illustrious family of Veena Dhanammal who was supposed to be an authority on Padam singing.
