Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Mysuru, will be celebrating World Environment Day on June 5 by organising drawing, painting and essay competition for students in the age  group of 5 – 21 years from 11 am in Mysuru     Zoo amphitheatre.  The topic for the competition is as follows:

Drawing/Painting competition – 5-11 years: Save Wildlife for future; 12-15 years: Environment and Climate Change; 15-18 years: Ecosystem Restoration.

 Essay Competition – 12-15 years: Estuaries and its importance; 15-18 years: Role of Youth in the protection of Environment; 18-21 years: Challenges faced in reducing plastic pollution.
