Mysuru:  Pailwan J. Sanjay Chandra, a II PUC Commerce student of Sadvidya PU College, has won gold medal in the 86-kg freestyle wrestling at the State-level Wrestling Championship 2024-25 organised by Department of PU Education at Sindagi taluk in Vijayapura, recently and has been selected for National-level wrestling tournament to be held later.

He is training under Vishwa and Pailwan Madhu at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium. Sadvidya Institutions Secretary M.D. Gopinath, Principal Ramesh, Physical Education Lecturer Krishna and others have congratulated Sanjay on his achievement.
