Y.G. Satyanarayan (91), retired Joint Director of the Department of Public Instruction and a resident of Kuvempunagar, passed away yesterday in city.
He leaves behind his son lecturer S. Harish, three daughters, sons-in-law retired Professor Shankaregowda, former Corporator Girish Prasad and retired Principal Jagadish Kumar and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Gokulam Burial Grounds this afternoon.
