A first-of-its- kind Republic Day celebration event is planned by Yadavagiri  Residents Association by organising a ‘Candle Light March’ on Jan. 26. The march will start from Jawa Circle to Akashvani Circle through Vivekananda Road.  Yadavagiri has made remarkable progress in keeping its surroundings clean. Still there are pockets where either residents throw garbage or those traveling by cars through Yadavagiri. Thanks to ever vigilant MCC Health Inspector and equally publicly conscious residents, those throwing garbage on the road sides have been fined

This March has been organised to promote the involvement of every resident to monitor the cleanliness and to ensure that no one throws garbage on the road. The ‘Candle Light March’ will be inaugurated by MP Yaduveer Wadiyar at 7 pm. MLA K. Harishgowda, former MP Prathap Simha and City BJP President L.
