The three-day National-level Technical and Cultural Fest ‘techNIEks-2017’ organised by National Institute of Engineering (NIE) will be held from Mar. 9 at the Golden Jubilee Auditorium on Manandavadi Road here.
The event will be inaugurated by Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar on Mar. 9 at 10.30 am. Around 40 colleges from across the State are expected to participate in various competitions.
As a pre-techNIEks event, NIE had organised a bike rally yesterday morning from the college premises which passed through Ballal Circle, Ramaswamy Circle, Mysuru Law Courts Complex, Hunsur Road, Five-Lights Circle before culminating at the college premises.
Students on more than 150 bikes covered around 14 kms in the city creating awareness on giving ‘Way to Ambulance.’
