YHAI Gangothri Unit to hold State-level Dandeli Trekking

The Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI), Gangothri Unit, Mysuru, has organised a five-day (4 nights, 5 days) State-level Trekking-cum-Training Programme in Dandeli Region, North Karnataka. The trekking event will take place in three batches from Jan. 22 to 28. A maximum of 35 trekkers are allowed to participate in each batch.

The reporting date for the respective batches will be Jan. 22, 23 and 24 respectively. Participants of the trek must report directly at Ulavi. Shivapur Basava Dhamma Math is the base camp, 9 kms from Ulavi.  During the five days of trekking, the trekkers can visit Shirve Gudda, Akka Nagamma Cave, Vibhuti Khanaja, Aakala Gavi, Rudrakshi Mantap, Haralayyana Chilume, Mahamane, Kali River Hanging Bridge, Kumbrala Waterfall, Shri Channabasaveshwara Temple and Sintheri Rocks.
