Mysore/Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a 21-year-old construction worker was crushed to death when a concrete-loaded bucket, which was being lifted up, collapsed and fell on him on Friday.

The deceased youth has been identified as Mohammad Yasin, a resident of Nehrunagar in city.

Mohammad Yasin was engaged in alteration work of a lodge on Irwin Road, when a concrete-loaded bucket which was being lifted up with the help of a rope, crashed and fell on his head. 

Due to the impact, Yasin sustained serious head injuries and died at the spot, it is learnt.

Mandi Police have registered a case in this regard.
