Mysore/Mysuru: A youth, who was given gold weighing 1281.530 grams to test its genuineness, has reportedly fled with the same.
The accused youth is 29-year-old Naveen of Gayathripuram and 40-year-old Soundararaj, proprietor of SDJ Gold Company is the one who has lost the gold.
Soundararaj had appointed people to test gold ornaments sold by customers to the company. On Sept. 24, Soundararaj through his employees Nikhil and Krithik had sent 981.530 grams gold ingot for testing and another 300 grams gold ingot to make jewellery to accused Naveen.
Naveen, who received the gold from Nikhil and Krithik, later switched off his cell phone and has fled, according to the complaint. Nazarbad Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
