Mysuru: A 20-year-old youth was killed on the spot when a Tata Ace goods vehicle rammed into the scooter he was riding on Bogadi Ring Road here last evening.
The deceased youth has been identified as Talib, a resident of Mandi Mohalla in city. Talib was proceeding towards Rajarajeshwari Nagar from Bogadi junction side, when a Tata Ace goods vehicle hit his scooter from behind resulting in Talib falling from his scooter and sustaining severe injuries on his head. He breathed his last on the spot.
K.R. Traffic Police personnel, who visited the spot, registered a case, seized the goods vehicle and have launched a hunt to nab the driver of the goods vehicle who had fled from the spot after leaving the vehicle behind.
