Mysuru: A gang of miscreants allegedly stabbing a youth to death has been reported from Vijayanagar in city last night.
The victim has been identified as Jayaramu (34), a resident of Belavadi, who was working at a service station in Vijayanagar 4th Stage.
Jayaramu, after finishing work last night, was proceeding to his home, when a gang of miscreants waylaid him at a deserted place and stabbed Jayaramu, who died on the spot due to severe bleeding.
It is learnt that, Jayaramu, who was working as a cable operator earlier, had fought with some people over money matter, which could be the reason for the murder, which would be known only after Police investigation.
Vijayanagar Inspector Guruprasad and staff, who rushed to the spot, inspected the spot and shifted the body to JSS Hospital for post-mortem.
