Mysore/Mysuru: A 24-year-old youth, who was reportedly walking on the Railway track on Mysuru-Chamarajanagar route, was killed after being run over by Tirupathi-Mysuru-Chamarajanagar train this morning.
The deceased is Srinivas, son of Venkatesh, a trainer at a gym in city and a resident of Besthageri on Chamaraja Double Road.
The train left Mysuru Station to Chamarajanagar at about 7.30 am and Srinivas came under its wheels near Saraswathipuram Fire Brigade. Mysuru Railway Police have registered a case.
