Mysuru: Two youths, who had gone to KRS backwaters for a swim, were drowned in the waters at Hale Anandur yesterday afternoon.
The deceased youths have been identified as Imran Pasha (23) and Sadiq Ahmed (26), both residents of Mandi Mohalla in city.
Imran and Sadiq, who were friends, went to KRS backwaters for a swim and while swimming, they were stuck in the slush and drowned, according to the Police.
Yelwal Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
