Yuva Brigade to provide food kits for private school teachers

Mysore/Mysuru: In the name of ‘Guru Gourava,’ Yuva Brigade is busy in packing food kit at Gopalaswamy Shishuvihara in city to be distributed among teachers of private schools who are in distress owing to current COVID crisis.

Noted writer, Chakravarthi Sulibele has been involved in this programme. 

Each kit consists of 10 kg rice, 2 kg dal, 2 kg sugar, 2 kg soji, 2 kg wheat flour and one litre edible oil. Packing was going on for the last one week. Similar packing of food kits has also been going on in Kanakadasa Shikshana Samiti, Hubballi and B.N.M.T. premises in Bengaluru.

Infosys Chairperson Dr. Sudha Murty has come forward to sponsor for 2,500 kits with different items like millet flour, jaggery and flattened rice, along with the food kits of Yuva Brigade. Packing of this 1,500 kits were going on in Gopalaswamy Shishuvihara.

Over 50 volunteers from Mysuru, Nanjangud, T. Narasipur, Srirangapatna and Mandya are involved in packing of this food kits. Sri Shanthivrathananda Swamiji of Ramakrishna Ashram visited the spot and blessed the volunteers.

The distribution of these kits will start from tomorrow.
