‘Yuva Vikasa Sri’ Awardee

Mysore/Mysuru: Upcoming actor Chetan Devaraj was presented ‘Yuva Vikasa Sri’ award by Karnataka Rajya Vokkaligara Vikasa Vedike, on account of birth anniversary celebrations of late K.H. Ramaiah recently.

A native of Bettadabeedu village in H.D. Kote taluk in the district, Chetan is the son of Mangalamma and late Devaraj couple. He has been associated with Kannada filmdom as a lyricist and director for the last eight years. He is also socially active and has been involved in ‘Nimma Denige-Nimma Shalege’ campaign to save Kannada medium schools, by painting buildings and providing assistance for the education of the  school children.

He has been also entertaining music-lovers with Kannada album songs through his own ‘CD OFFICIAL ADDA’  YouTube Channel.
