Zahera Begum (66), retired teacher from Farooqia Boys High School and a resident of Kalyanagiri, passed away yesterday morning following a brief illness.

She leaves behind son Dr. Ziauddin, Office-bearer of  Mehnaj-ul-Quran.

Namaz-e-Janaza was held last evening at Masjid-e- Azam, on Ashoka Road followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Ground near Tipu Circle here.  Family can be contacted on Mob: 90197-66711.
