Following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: M.C. Lekha, Mysuru- Rose Ringed Parakeet (Rs.2,000); B.V. Rajalakshmi, Bengaluru- Yellow Golden Pheasant (Rs.3,500); Shashirekha Hariprasad, Bengaluru- White Peacock (Rs.3,500); S.H. Gayathri, Mysuru- Rhesus Macaque (Rs.5,000); Baby Cherry, Mysuru-Cockatiel (Rs.1,000); C. Ramesh, Bengaluru- Jungle Cat (Rs.5,000), according to press release from Zoo Executive Director.
