The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme: Srikantha Balika Proudashala, Mysuru – Common Peafowl (Rs.3,500); Awadh Vashist, Delhi – Rhesus Macaque (Rs.5,000); Mysore Refreshment, Ittigegudu – Spotted Whistling Duck (Rs.2,000); H.A. Abhishek, Mysuru – King Cobra (Rs.3,500); N. Prakash, Bengaluru – Peacock and Indian Cobra (Rs.7,500); Gagana Kunal, Mysuru – White Peacock (Rs.3,500); K.M.Pradeep, Bengaluru – Love Bird (Rs.1,000); T.K. Ganesh, Bengaluru – Nile Crocodile and Black Buck (Rs.15,000).
