The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the Adoption Fee: K.S. Pratap, Bengaluru, Gharial – Rs.7,500; Sheela Rawat, Bengaluru, Red Lory – Rs.2,000, Skanda A. Kumar, Bengaluru, Spotted Deer – Rs.7,500; Rosa Thorns, Bengaluru, Leopard – Rs.5,000; B. Basavaraja, Bengaluru, Lion-Tailed Macaque – Rs.10,000; H.S. Vishwanath, Mandya, King Cobra -Rs.3,500 according to a press release from the Mysuru Zoo Executive Director.
