The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the Adoption Fee: 10th std. students of JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar, Mysuru – Common Ostrich and Spot Billed Pelican (Rs. 25,000); Dr. M.C.Lekha, Mysuru – Rose Ringed Parakeet (Rs. 2000); Pradeep Lakshmipathy, Bengaluru – Indian Black Turtle and Indian Cobra (Rs. 4,000); Lavanya Mohan, Mysuru – Sarus Crane (Rs.7,500); K.M. Basappa, Aikolanda Family, Mysuru – White Peacock (Rs.3,500); V. Sundaram, Mysuru – Grey Parrot (Rs. 2,000).
