Fire due to short circuit: Cash, jewellery, household items, food grains destroyed

Huyilalu:  Fire due to electrical short circuit at a house in Huyilalu village, Yelwal hobli, has destroyed everything in the house.

Fire was spotted at the house of Sannashetty and within minutes, it spread to the entire house. Sensing danger, the residents of the house ran out of the house for safety and informed the Fire Brigade Station.

Though the Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire, the fire had already destroyed household items, Rs.10,000 cash, gold jewellery worth about Rs.20,000 and food grains kept in the house besides rendering the family homeless.
