Mysuru – St. Joseph’s Cathedral (St. Philomena’s Church), which began conducting prayers inside the Church recently after it was closed for renovation since a year, will be holding special prayers, services and mass as part of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.
Tomorrow being Maundy Thursday, mass will be held from 6 pm onwards.
On Good Friday (Apr. 14), ‘The Way of the Cross’ will be held at 3 pm and the Good Friday Service will be held from 5 pm onwards.
Holy Saturday service (Apr. 15) will begin from 10.30 pm which will go on past midnight.
On Easter Sunday (Apr. 16), morning mass will be held at 5 am, 6 am, 7 am and 8 am. Evening mass will be held at 6 pm.
The special prayers, mass and services on all the four days will be conducted by Mysuru Bishop Most Rev. Dr. K. A. William.
St. Joseph’s Cathedral Parish Priest Fr. N.T. Joseph and other priests will attend the services.
