 ‘Jagguva Kulabhushana Bhatta Award’ for Dr. K. Leela Prakash

Mysuru: Dr. K. Leela Prakash, Founder-Director & Chief Editor, Dr. K. Krishnamurthy Samshodhana Pratishtana, Mysuru, has been conferred with ‘Jagguva Kulabhushana Bhatta Award’ given by Karnataka Sanskrit University, for her translation work ‘Kannada Charudattam.’ The award carries a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and a citation.

The author received the award at a programme organised by Karnataka Sanskrit University at Kannada Sahitya Parishat premises in Bengaluru recently in the presence of  Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sabiha Bhoomi Gowda and Karnataka Sanskrit University VC Dr. Padma Shekar and Senior Sanskrit Scholar Dr. K.G. Subraya Sharma.
