10-day CATC held at 13 Karnataka Bn NCC

13 Karnataka Bn NCC, under the aegis of NCC Group Mysore, is responsible for imparting NCC Training in and around Mysuru.

A ten-day (May 13 to 22) Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) concluded with a spectacular cultural performance put up by the Cadets at  DPS, Mysore.

Ramesh Banoth, Commissioner of Police, Mysuru city, attended the event and gave a motivational talk, highlighting the importance of perseverance and hard-work in achieving preset goals.

During the camp, the Cadets were put through a series of lectures on varied topics, demonstrations and hands-on drills covering a wide spectrum including weapon handling, Map reading, marching, first-aid, health and hygiene, cyber security, fire safety and career opportunities in Defence Forces.

During this ten-day course, Cadets also got the opportunity to participate in spreading the message of plastic-free community in the general area in Alanahalli  as part of social service and community development activity.
