10-day free legal training for aspiring Judges, Prosecutors

Mysore/Mysuru: A 10-day free training workshop for the candidates appearing for examinations to fill the posts of District Judges and Assistant Public Prosecutors (APP) was launched on Saturday at JSS Law College, Saraswathipuram in the city.

The workshop is being jointly organised by the District Bar Association, JSS Law College and Law Guide, a Kannada legal journal.

The workshop is being held under the leadership of Law Guide Editor H.N. Venkatesh.

Senior advocate S.P. Shankar, District Bar Association President M. Mahadevaswamy, Secretary S. Umesh and JSS Law College Chief Secretary Prof. K.S. Suresh were the chief guests.

State Bar Council Vice-President Chandramouli was felicitated on the occasion.

Former Bar Association President G.V. Ramamurthy, senior lawyers S. Lokesh, Girijesh, Ravikanth, Nagaraj, Shivakumar, Rajesh and others were present.
