Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the Celebration Run Series, Life is Calling, a sports management company, will organise the 12th edition of the Celebration Mysore Marathon on Sept. 11 from the Balarama Gate of the Mysore Palace.

The marathon will be flagged off at 5.30 am and will see a 30-km run, 21-km half marathon and a 10-km run for participants who are 16 years and above and a 5-km run or walk for participants in the age group of 11 years and above.

This was disclosed to reporters at a press conference at Pathrakarthara Bhavan this morning. “This year, we are hosting 10 blind runners and their guides to run,” said programme Director Sunil.

The 30-km run, the 21-km half marathon and the 10-km run are competitive categories with participants expected from all over the country. The 5-km celebration fun run/walk is a non-competitive category to encourage participants from across Karnataka. The event will also promote fitness and healthy living,” he added.
