KSCA U-19 Women’s Inter-Zonal Tournament 2026-27

City’s Veda Varshini to lead Combined Zonal XI

Mysuru: Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has selected 13 women cricketers from Mysuru to represent mofussil teams in the KSCA U-19 Women’s Inter-Zonal Tournament 2026-27 starting from today (Aug. 6) in Bengaluru.

Among the cricketers selected to represent the mofussil teams, city’s Veda Varshini, who has earlier represented the Karnataka U-19 Women’s team, has been appointed as the Captain of Combined Zonal XI team. She had also represented the State U-15 girls team and was in the list of probables for the State Senior Women’s team.  

Selected players are: S. Janya Madhuram, Nesara Saptha Girish, S.K. Tanmay and D.A. Trisha (all Mofussil XI); C. Ganavi Dev, Yashika Gowda and N. Yokshitha (all Combined Mofussil XI); Veda Varshini (Captain), K. Harshitha, Kashvi S. Shekar (Wicket Keeper),  U.J. Karishma Gowda, Nishika Charvi and Tanvi Raj (all Combined Zonal XI).

The matches will be held at Alur (4), RRMC, RSI, Six Cricket Academy and Runs Cricket Academy in Bengaluru from Aug. 6 to Aug. 12.
