168th week of Swachh Bharath Abhiyan held

Mysuru: Continuing its cleanliness drive as part of Swachh Bharath campaign, the city’s H.V. Rajiv Geleyara Balaga, along with Vishwamanava Mysuru Vishwavidyanilaya Naukarara Vedike, Sri Dharmashtala  Grameenabhivruddhi Samsthe, Kalki Manava Balaga and Karnataka Rajya Ganaka Vijanana Adhyapakara Sanha held the 168th week of the campaign at Maharaja College, Yuvaraja College and University Evening College, Manasagangothri this morning. The participants cleaned the campuses of the 3 colleges, cleaning the roads and open spaces, trimming bushes and plants and clearing garbage and waste. Former Minister Suresh Kumar, UoM Registrar D. Bharathi, Gandhi Bhavan Director Prof. Shivarajappa, Maharaja College Principal Prof. Sunitha, Yuvaraja College Principal Dr. Ganesh, NSS officer Dr.P.G. Chandrashekar, University Evening College Principal Dr. Chandramma, leaders H.V. Rajiv, Abdul Azeem, Rajesh Yadav and others took part.
