1st Khelo India University Games 2020: Mysuru’s Ambika wins Silver in shot-put

V. Ambika, representing University of Mysore (UoM) in the 1st Khelo India University Games 2020, won the Silver Medal in the shot-put event yesterday with a throw of 13.92m at the Kalinga Stadium here. Kiran Baliyan of Chaudhary Charan Singh University won Gold with a throw of 15.10m and Shrishti Vig of MJP Rohilkhand University secured Bronze with a throw of 13.64m.

Ambika is accompanied by retd. SAI Athletic Coach Prabhakar, representing University of Mysore. Ambika trains with Mohan Kumar, a senior athlete at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Mysuru.
