20-minute ride for a 2-km stretch in Vijayanagar!

The stretch of road from Vijayanagar 2nd Stage Water Tank to the Ring Road is in a pathetic condition and a rider on an average needs about 20 minutes to cover this 2-km stretch.

One of SOM readers, who has sent the photo said that women find it more difficult to ride on this stretch besides stating that accidents take place every other day.

This stretch of road was dug up five months ago to lay water pipes and is left without being asphalted. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get this stretch of road asphalted at the earliest.
