Mysuru: Job Fair – 2025, organised by IQAC and the Career Guidance & Placement Cell in association with Samarthanam Trust for the  Disabled and DXC Technology was held at Sarada Vilas College in city recently. The Job Fair was held to provide a platform for students to explore employment opportunities and interact with potential employers besides bridging the gap between students and employers.

The event was inaugurated by watering the sapling by the dignitaries. Guests K. Satish, All India Placement Head, Samarthanam and S. Subhaschandra, Centre Head, Samarthanam, were present and guided the aspirants.

R. Dinesh, Hon. Secretary, SVEI, encouraged everyone to make use of this job mela, which opens doors to new possibilities, growth and fulfilment.

Dr. M. Devika, Principal of Sarada Vilas College, delivered the presidential address and wished the aspirants great success in their career.

Amulya, a first year BSc (Honors) student, was the master of ceremonies while Nithya, a second year student, welcomed.

Sagar, a first year student,rendered the invocation. Harini, a second year BSc student, proposed the vote of thanks.

A total of 2,000 job aspirants took part out of which 600 were short-listed. A total of 29 companies participated in the recruitment process.
