A tusker, which had strayed into the cotton field belonging to one Lakshmanegowda at Devalapura near Saragur in H.D. Kote, was found dead in the field after it reportedly came in contact with the electric fence erected in the cotton field. Saragur SI Basavaraju and Forest Department officials visited the spot.
