MCC clarifies

Mysuru: Following publication of various civic issues in the WhatsApp Us column, the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has issued the following clarifications:

For the news item under the heading ‘Plea to clear box drains in Sharadadevinagar’ on July 10, the MCC has stated that the issue has been solved as the drains have been cleaned.

For the news titled ‘Plea to clear garbage in T.K. Layout’ on July 11, the civic body has clarified that the garbage has been cleared and the place cleaned.

The news item under the heading ‘Plea to clear drain waste on K.T. Street’ published on July 12 has received a clarification from the MCC stating that the drain wastes dumped on the road has been cleared and the road has been cleaned.

For the report ‘Shabby work on laying water pipeline’ published on July 13, the MCC has clarified that the pipeline work is being undertaken by Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board (KUWSDB) and the complaint has been forwarded to the Executive Engineer for further action.

On July 15, a news item under the headline ‘Plea to clear garbage in Lakshmikanthanagar’ was published for which the MCC has clarified that the garbage has been cleared and the place cleaned.

For the news item ‘Regular clearance of garbage on Basaweshwara Road needed’ published on July 16, the MCC has issued a clarification that the garbage has been removed and the place has been cleaned.

For another news item published on July 16 under the headline ‘Prevent dumping of cow dung and waste near Freedom Fighters Park,’ the MCC has clarified that the cow dung and waste has been cleared and the place cleaned.
